In the winter of 2012, I was asked by friend and filmmaking madman, James Sizemore to collaborate on the score for his epic, bloody, practical effects love letter to 70's/80's horror, THE DEMON'S ROOK.

Over the next three months, I wrote fifteen cues for fifteen scenes in the film [only 1/6th of the score, along with four other composers, the director, and the awesome band El Fossil] But this being my first feature length project I had ever worked on, I bit off more than I could chew as time ran out, and in the end only about 1/5th of my cues made it into the final film for several reasons.

I am beyond proud of the work that did make it into what is now one of the most amazing and insane films I have ever seen. But James and I still really dig these cues, and I learned a lot in those three months that has served me greatly to this day. I hope you will as well...
